A-registered Class 1 Medical Device created by chiropractor Dr. David Starr to relieve lower back pain by achieving powerful and effective spinal decompression without surgery or hanging upside down like a bat. Looks like a well-researched and engineered product that can provide real relief. But when I watched the demonstration video below, I’ll admit I found Spinal Stretch’s ratcheting action a little scary. Can you ratchet it a step too far and injure yourself? Not according to the very informative Spinal Stretch website, where the FAQ states, “When used properly there is little chance of injury, as the pulling force cannot exceed a very safe 30-40% of your body weight. Any attempt to exceed that amount will simply result in your body sliding on the carpet.”
Spinal Stretch also has the advantage of being portable, so you can take it along while traveling. If you have a low back ailment related to spinal compression, including sciatica, spinal stenosis, facet joint syndrome, muscle spasms, herniated/bulging discs or degenerated discs, you might want to check it out.
