Train for the Tour de France at Home!

Now bicycling enthusiasts can train just like the pros in the comfort of their own home—while experiencing the same French countryside and routes enjoyed by Tour de France contestants.

The official training bike of the Tour de France.

Proform’s TDF Centennial is the official training bike of Le Tour de France. It features a touchscreen video display powered by Google Maps that allows you to experience actual race routes in real time as you pedal. It has to be seen to be believed.

Other features include a 20 percent incline and decline capability, built-in power meter and Silent Magnetic Resistance technology that makes for a whisper-quiet journey through the hills and villages of France.

The TDF Centennial comes with 24 premapped courses. You can also create your own using the console’s Android-powered browser.

The current version of the Centennial is $1,999, but you can save hundreds by buying the 2011 or 2012 models, which each come packed with 24 routes from those years’ races.
