Last Video Footage of Billy Mays?

This report from Fox News contains what may be Billy Mays’ final appearance in front of the camera, as he picks up his luggage in the airport terminal after the rough landing of his US Airways flight at Tampa International Airport. No use speculating until the coroner issues a report, but it looks likely the head injury Billy sustained during landing may have been a factor in his untimely death.

  2. Wow, this is very sad. It was was a shock to me and my boyfriend when we heard it.

We used to think he was loud and obnoxious but then we saw him on The Pitchmen and learned that he was a really nice guy with a wonderful family. He was very funny and caring. He never sold products he didn’t like or that didn’t work!

It is hard to believe that he is gone! I am very sorry for his family and even Anthony Sullivan. I knew they were very good friends.

We will miss you very much Billy. Rest in Peace!

  3. I am truly shocked at the news I heard this morning. My thoughts and prayers are with Billy’s family and friends. I used to really get a kick out of his sales style and never changed the TV channel he was on until he was done. Goodbye King of the Product Infommercial! Rest in Gods hands.

  4. Billy was the best. I loved watching him do his schtick, and got my little kids into it as well.

I think the economy is really in trouble now, without Billy I am sure GDP will drop by at least 10%.

I’ll miss ya Billy…no reason to watch tv anymore.

  5. After reeling from the news of Michael Jackson’s death, I was stunned to learn this morning of the death of my favorite TV Pitch Man, Billy Mays!

I have always admired and appreciated his work. Like MJ, Billy was a legend in his field and no one can ever replace him. Billy was obviously a true star as it takes a lot to work one’s way into the hearts of Americans especially when known only for being a salesman and not for being a musician, actor, etc.

Billy will be missed by millions!

  6. I am shocked and saddened to learn of Billy’s unexpected passing. I wish he had gone to Tampa General instead of going to bed Saturday night; he might still be with us. My deepest sympathy to Deborah, the kids and Billy’s family. I’ll sure miss hearing: Hi, Billy Mays here!”

  8. Man! This a hard hit. I loved the show and Billy Mays was great. This is a sad day and he will be missed. My sorrows to the family and I wish them the best. He was a cool guy and he was just getting started. I’ll miss ya buddy, Billy Sawicki HERE and we’ll see you again one day.

  9. Man, this was the biggest shocker of all the deaths these past couple weeks.
Billy’s is certainly the saddest, since it was purely an accident and he was truly taken before his time.
    R~I~P Billy. :*(

  10. I heard the news through a friend of mine online. I used to watch his commericals for fun. I always believed–and still do believe–that he only advertised products that really worked. He was a true and honest man, and we’ll never forget how he yelled at us viewers to get through to us that his products were quality. My sister–along with the rest of the world–is mourning over the loss of our dearest Billy D. Mays.
This is truely the saddest death I’ve ever went through these past couple of days. For Billy was a honest, pure, and loving man. I’m deeply sorry for the family of our dear Billy Mays. The family was very lucky to be blessed with such a man; Billy, we’ll never forget you.

  11. This is very say indeed. I have loved watching him on infomercials over the years, (the first face you’d see pop on the screen in the middle of the night when you couldn’t sleep…) Now, more recently I have grown to love him watching “Pitchmen”. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP Billy

  12. Billy was the greatest salesman. He had a sense of humor, and even when he became successful, never acted like a pompous CEO, he was always very much into what he was doing. On Pitchmen, when one guy said he spent $30K of his own money, Billy was like “wow”…still in touch with how much money that is for an average Joe to spend.
I can’t believe he is gone. He had a talent and an artform. Does anyone know if Anthony Sullivan will continue as “Pitchman”?
