According to tampbay.com, Billy Mays’ family and the marketers who used his services have mutually decided that his commercials, including some shot before his untimely death that have not yet run, will still appear on TV. Why is the Internet so full of snark? And why, if you’re going to post a comment correcting a blogger, do you not take care to not make mistakes yourself? 1. “uh” is not a word, and even if it was, it should be capitalized as the first word of a sentence. 2. It’s “weren’t”, not “were’nt”. 3. While the text in question is not the most eloquently turned phrase ever to be tapped out by my ten digits, the modifying phrase “that have not yet run” makes it technically correct. It’s the only wording in the post that mentions his death, and explains to an uniformed reader why the running of the commercials would be an issue. Anyway, thanks for your comment.
