Awesome Auger is certainly not a new product, but it does have a brand-spankin’ new commercial from mega-pitchmanBilly Mays. OK, maybe they re-used a lot of footage from the original spot. But there are new testimonials. Even Popular Mechanics says the Awesome Auger is “occasionally awesome,” and how many As Seen On TV products are even “rarely awesome?”
Thanks to the kind YouTube member who uploaded it, we’ve added Pitchmen episode two to our Pitchmen page for your viewing pleasure. in “Dual Saw Shuffle”, Billy Mays and Anthony Sullivan pitch the Dual Saw, created by a French firefighter, as well as Shuffles, mops you wear on your feet. That is all.
After the premiere of a new TeeVee show like Pitchmen, you need to have big party with green drinks and fancy clothes. Watch Billy Mays and Anthony Sullivan smile at the cameras. But as far as i can tell, they are the only celebrities at the party. If I hear “Life’s a pitch, and then you buy” one more time, I’m going to scream.
Sorry, this video has been removed by its creator.
Shuffles is a new floor-mopping concept slated to be featured on the April 22 episode of Discovery Channel’s Pitchmen with Billy Mays and Anthony Sullivan. I’m afraid the UPS deliverist would view me with disdain, pity and revulsion if I answered the door wearing these. But since your Savvy Shopper is no god of domesticity, Shuffles might actually be the only way the floors will get dusted.
I enjoyed last night’s premiere episode of Discovery Channel’s new show Pitchmen with Billy Mays and Anthony “Sully” Sullivan. But where online is the commercial for Impact Gel Shoe Insoles? All I can find is this amateur video by the inventor. Anybody have a link to the real thing?
The first episode of Pitchmen airs tonight on Discovery Channel. Watch Billy Mays and Anthony Sullivan evaluate new products and sometimes speak without yelling.
If you’re old enough to remember the many characters of motion picture and television legend Red Skelton, you know you want this DVD set with rare and previously unreleased material. If you’re not familiar with Red’s work, Red Skelton Unreleased is a great introduction. Here’s a sketch from 1961 featuring Harvey Korman:
One of the oldest and most successful strategies in As Seen On TV (DRTV) marketing is to combine two products into one. Take an already successful product like HD Vision Wraparounds and add a twist. In this case, the twist is bifocal reading lenses built-in. Now you have HD Vision Readers. This is a great product for people who need to read outside but don’t want to pony up hundreds of dollars for bifocal or progressive sunglasses. Your Savvy Shopper always wears sunglasses in public to look cool and remain incognito.
