We’re posting this on Monday because we’ll be out of town all week visiting family for Thanksgiving.
Behold the Pet Zoom Nail Groom, from the same folks who brought you the original Pet Zoom (which you get free with this new offer).
Is the Pet Zoom Nail Groom just a copycat of Pedipaws, which is a copycat of Peticure? According the the commercial, the advantages of this product are that it is less bulky, and it doesn’t need to be rotated during the nail grinding procedure. The tip and sides of the nail get done at the same time. We’ve haven’t tried yet, but hope to get ours soon and report back. We have two fully-clawed cats who hate nail trimming.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone from As Seen On TV Video!
Some of you may have missed this informative article that appeared back in August in the Washington Post. Within it we hear about Bily’s recent hip replacement, discover through a short bio how he achieved the pinnacle of pitching, and learn a little about his upcoming reality show on the Discovery Channel.
The reporter is visiting Billy in his Odessa, Florida home during his recovery from surgery. Billy is watching TV.
Every few minutes, Mays pops up in yet another commercial, each time bellowing like a man who thinks that the whole world has gone a little deaf… Frankly, that’s a little more Billy Mays than even Billy Mays can handle. “If I see myself one more time today,” he groans, sounding genuinely weary, “I’m going to pull my hair out.”
Expect to see a lot more Billy in the future, now that companies like DC Shoes are playing him for laughs. According to this article, Pepsi may be next.
As I’m sure you know (or you wouldn’t be reading this), ShamWow was a huge As Seen On TV success story earlier this year. Now we witness the introduction of the WOW Storage System. Maybe the people behind this new product figured adding a little of the “Wow” factor would help their product as well. Maybe they should have gone further and hired Vince Offer to pitch their product.
The WOW Storage System looks like a product chock full real-world usability goodness. The unique feature is the interchangeability of the lids and containers. Each piece can either be a top or a bottom, as they all fit together. This means never searching for a lid. It also means you can still easily attach an lid on a overfilled container. Will WOW Containers make you say “Wow!”?
Words cannot express the awesomeness of these new commercials from DC Shoes starring our favorite pitchman Billy Mays. Snowboards can slice carrots! Who knew? See all the new commercials featuring Billy at the DC Shoes website or on our own Billy Mays Top Ten Commercials page.
Is this Barack Obama Inaugural Dollar tacky? Whenever there is a historic event in our country’s history, many Americans are inspired to profit by commemorating that moment in the form of coins, models, plates and other assorted bric-a-brac (each with the mandatory certificate of authenticity).
However, we at As Seen On TV Video have to admit that we are deeply inspired by Barack Obama’s message and we celebrate his victory. This is a moment unlike any in our history. So we agree a keepsake like this really hits the right note. It’s an inexpensive momento eveyone can afford to own or give. The perfect gift for everyone except McCain/Palin supporters. And at this magical moment, maybe some of them would like it too.
What is it about toy trucks that attracts both the young and old? To the older generation, we suppose it’s nostalgia for a simpler, bygone time when pickups were meant for work. For the young, they’re just cool toys, with opening doors, hood and tailgate, ready to carry loads of peanuts or marbles across the living room.
We love classic cars and trucks, especially these classic Ford pickups. You get both the 1948 F-1 and the 1956 F-100 models, two historic milestones in the history of the world’s largest selling line of vehicles. It’s sure a lot easier to own these models than the real thing. And at this low price, this is a great gift for the holidays.
Maybe we’re just a little hungover, but we don’t really get this commercial. Is Billy Mays talking to a psychologist, a speech therapist, a career coach? What is the connection between Billy’s laryngitis and OxiClean dispensers in washers? Please explain it to us, because we’re feeling dense.
Sometimes you just have the feeling that a product is going to be really, really big. That’s the feeling we got when we first saw the commercial for Snuggie, the Blanket with Sleeves. Snuggie really hits all the right marks to be a big holiday success. It’s useful, not too expensive, and it appeals to both genders and all age groups. Plus, during these tough economic times, it encourages people to turn down the thermostat and save both money and energy.
You can tell that big bucks went into producing this commercial. It features multiple locations and a large cast, including the famous couple from the ListenUp commercial. You may not know their names, but who can forget her nagging “Does that have to be so loud???” when he’s just try to hear the TV.
Anyway, look for this commercial to play endlessly on every basic cable channel from now until Christmas.
Face it, not all As Seen On TV products are created equal. Occasionally one may experience buyer’s remorse when products do not perform as advertised. Well, your Savvy Shopper is happy to say that the Emjoi Tweeze is one product that exceeded our expectations. Tweeze is not really a new product, although it is new to As Seen On TV Video. We purchased our Tweeze at least five years ago, and it’s performed flawlessly all that time. The photo on the right was taken just now and is our actual well-used Tweeze, kept right here on our desk so it’s ready when we need it.
We’re what one might call “tweezer fanatics,” always looking for the perfect pair of tweezers. Tweeze is so cool because it tweezes multiple hairs at once and makes the process quick, painless and so easy. Tweeze is the first product that is officially As Seen On TV Video Approved, because we’ve personally put it to the test. Unwanted hairs, begone!
It has been brought to my attention that the Billy Mays Does The Office video from several weeks back has been re-released on YouTube as a very special Director’s Cut version with an alternate ending. I haven’t done an exhaustive frame-by-frame analysis to determine how much is different, but I’m pretty sure that Billy didn’t steal someone’s MacBook Air in the original version. Here it is for you hardcore fans.
