Same thing happened to me with the over billing and it caused me overdraft fees with my bank. Been waiting on my refund since July. Contacted Arizona bbb and just got a email saying that they tried contacting the company for me but were never able to get a response. So Frustrated!! The crazy thing is that I still hear commercials for this scam of a company on XM radio..

It,s been almost 6 months and no refund yet. I emailed the www.arizona.bbb.org.com and filled out a complaint form and right now I am working with the bbb to get my refund. This is what you have to do to get your refund or they will not give you your money. They will just keep telling you a bunch of lies.

they are under investigation with the FTC and have suspended operations. serves them right

My wife and I were also taken by this company (Healthcareone) Please do as I did and file a complaint with you local BBB.

This company debit my account earlier than what was agreed and has forced me to close my bank account because they have caused me to have $754 in overdraft and dailey continuous fee. They would not email me a confirmation of my cancellation when I contacted them today but did give me a number and when I asked to speak to a manager they said the manager was too busy to talk to me.

This company has debit my account twice in one month and keep asking me if I want a free month. No, I want my money, why is it so hard for them to refund people their money. Summer at healthcare told me that she cancel the transaction and the amount was still debit from my account. When ask about making the payment without my card, they state that is the only way payment can be accepted and told me to go get a pre-paid card so that way it will not interfer with my account.. I am a little sorry that I sign up for the crap.

For all those who have not got the refund - the only way to get the refund is to log a complaint with better buissness bereau...I got my money back less the 95$ processing fees.At least this way you can get the membesrship money back.

I have healthcare one and I dont understand what you guys are talking about... I have used the plan for myself and my family and it has worked fine for me. It seems that all pharmacies I goto accept it, I was unable to keep my family dr. but I had no problems finding one in my area... Not only that, but this last winter I went into the hospital and had a $20,000 bill for a small emergency surgery I had and they got the bill down to around $6,000. Thats about 70% off... However to be fair, I referred a friend of mine to them and he decided to cancel the plan as soon as he got the packet in the mail and had to mail them a letter regarding his cancellation. It did take about 90 days to get his refund but it was refunded to him with little to no problems. He was upset it took so long but he did receive it, so I dont know. Anyway, the plan works for me because I have diabetes and most insurance companies either wouldnt accept me and the ones that did were asking around $500 a month... So I guess its on a case by case basis but for me personally, I like their plan and have been a member now for just over a year

healthcare one is comepletly a scam. i should know, i used to work for them. everyone there thinks its a game. everyone there is horrible and WILL NEVER give you you're money back. The CEO is named michael elman, the director of operations is named lance harris. they're based in tempe az. look up the address and head down there. its pretty much the only way you'll get your money back

To Kevans who asked for info on where/whom to complain to... Your state has a Commissioner of Insurance or something similar, for all insurance complaints. They will send you a form or advise you where to go online to get the complaint form. Hope this helps. They helped me once (TN)- a different insurance company. Once the insurance company hears from the Commissioner of Insurance, they have to respond.

Today is May 10, 2010 I was a TV commercial on this health insurance. I really like what the commercial had to say about getting health insurance so I called them up and I like what they told me. It would cast my family of 3 $79.95 it would cover RX care, hospital, dental, vision, chiropractic, other stuff they told me, that I would be abel to see any DR. I wanted with in 0.0 miles you have to pick there Dr. on a list they
give you. I thought to myself this is to good to be true. What I did next is looked up Health Care One Scams and saw this web page. Well I'm happy I saw this web page what I did next called the BBB Better Business Bureau. They told that they are not Affiliated with the BBB and they gave them a Grade of (F). I'm so glad I found this web page. Sorry for all of you that can't get there money but thank you all for your comments. I did my homework.

healthcare one is a scam, i was biled trice and had to fight back before it was corrected. i cancelled my membership and i'm in the second month, still have not received my refund, i wa stold it still in proces. please don't joke with healthcare one, when they get hold of your money, it will take forever to refund your money, that is if you are fortunate. just stay away.

I have the same expereince, they charged me twice in less than three weeks, they were suppose to wait after a month trail period. What can I do, I have called numerous times, they are not listening. They just plainly and rudely sail the refund department reject your request, you didn't follow procedure. can any body give me an advise?

It took me 5 months to get my money back from HealthcareOne and then only when I contacted the Better Business Bureau. Miraculously, they got it back for me in 5 days. I cancelled 2 weeks after I signed up. To add insult to injury, HealthcareOne kept $50. as a processing fee...they should have paid me back the interest on my credit card, but felt they were entitled to the $50. And, yes, I did report them to the St. Attorney General in Phoenix, AZ. If not for the BBB, I doubt I would have ever received the refund.

Just signed up and have to wait for the information pack to arrive so that I can follow the procedure outlined on the documentation to cancel the service. Wish I had checked into this more appropriately before going ahead to sign up. Contacting my credit card to stop charges. Ran straight into it blindly! Lesson learned the hard way.

If this is a scam as many of you say, do us all a favor and report your experience to the U.S. Attorney General. This would be internet fraud, computer fraud (since they have a website), and an obvious Federal offense. Don't just complain on the Net, Notify the U.S. Attorney General!!!

I joined Healthcareone, all was OK for about 3 months, but I didn't check my credit card charges closely... when I did some months later, I found they were charging me more than once per month for the service! And then it became twice a month regularly ... etc. When I complained vehemently about it they gave an immediate non-payment/credit status for about 3 months without further question... which at the time I thought was quite unusual. The explanation was they were having computer sofware problems and were having to enter details manually. Can you imagine servicing millions of clients manually as claimed...? there would need to have been an army of clerical staff to handle this software problem! Then after a short time, the same problems reared there ugly head again... The same excuse of software problems were quoted again! (These same software claims had been going on for 18+ months!) - I complained to my credit card company and they reclaimed the further over charges from Healthcare-one. I cancelled my account with then, and my credit card company cancelled my card account and re-issued a new account and card with another number... Interesting to say, "my credit card company" picked up on the fraudulant charges of Healthcare-one immediately once I mention it to them." I did make a complaint to law enforcement without any feed-back? - An honest opinion from my experience without prejudice, is these guys are possible either a scam, or there are employees skimming profits off the top from the operation without the knowledge of higher management? From my experience I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with this company. I certainly hope someone will make on official complaint to the Arizona authorities to start a full scale investigation... There must be tens of thousands of customers who have experience the same problems as myself.

I just got a call from these people and I asked to see more info from their website. She sounded like a fraud and asked me to directly go to the website and not to google it. I knew right then that the only reason they wouldn't want me to google their company was because it is a scam! It sounded to good to be true- so please call your local sherrifs office and report them! We need to keep criminals from ripping others off!

I'm also waiting on a refund! My membership was cancelled on August 25, 2009...65 days later, no refund and the only response I am given is "I will make this a priority" HA HA HA! Am now sending an email to Mr. Ellman and Mr. Harris, also faxing a letter now! Wish me luck!

These peaple are crazy .they call me ,ask were I live do I have a banking acount and say that I'm qualify for this great INS .Transfer me to another lady ,I let her go on and then she hangs up the phone when I ask her what star raiting they have with the better buisness bureau LOL ps somone needs to tell Oboma about this !!!!!¡¡!¡

I just got a call from these folks....I did not give her any information. Instead I said I would have to call her back when I spoke with my husband. Of course she was hesitant. I am glad this info was posted so that when I searched I found this. I knew this was one of those "too good to be true" gimmicks.

THIS IS A SCAM !!! I have dealt with this fictional insurance company less than 30 days before they had already deducted the second premium 10 days early from my account now over 14 days later I am still getting a load of crap every time I call. Is there a legal step that needs to be done?

This is crap - good luck finding a doctor who will give you a discount based on this crap -- there should be a law against this type of garbage..just another way to take money from a person who is not suspecting to be ripped off
