Ultimate Oldies But Goodies CD Collection

Really fun, comprehensive collection. Most are true classics that any popular music lover would enjoy regardless of age. Some are kind of cheesy, but hey it's the fifties - they fit the mood, especially if you're old enough to remember. I'm a music collector, but my wife loved the idea of having them all in one CD package, and I found there were many I did not already have. I also enjoyed the notes in the booklet that gave little known information about where the artists or songs came from or came to be recorded. Would have liked even more of that. Only four or five or so were so cheesy that I scratched my head and wondered why they were there. That means that 98+% will make my iPod. Very happy with that.

I listen to them on my days off. I never turn the radio on anymore as I don't enjoy the music of today. Give me the Oldies But Goodies any day of the week over the "music" they have today.
