Touch N Brush

In my family, we all use the same tube of toothpaste (or which ever one is handy) so we get each other's germs anyway. If you're worried about germs. Buy every family member one. Don't worry; be happy.

If you already share a tube of toothpaste you are sharing germs anyway, I do not buy 4 tubes of toothpaste for my family of 4. The kids have one and the adults have one. This is for the mess not germs, get over it people!

All I have to say is this thing can not be as unsanitary as the top to my current toothpaste tube that my kids use. I have 6 kids under 10 and they share toothpaste tubes. They make the biggest mess with it and toothpaste gets everywhere and crusted on the top of the tube. They slide their toothbrushes all over the top of that tube and they rarely get sick. I surely think there are more ways of passing germs that we should be concerned with than the touch n brush. I'm ordering one now , so I'll post again if I see a rise in sickness after using :0)

okay how about your hands, if you touch the toothpaste tube and then you kids or husband touch the toothpaste tube aren't you passing germs that way also? So, what's the difference if it's the dispenser or the toothpaste tube you are still going to pass germs when you live with people. I think they made this product for less mess and not less germs.

The flu and any other virus can be spread easily through that product. I bet you dont kiss your husband when hes sick right? Well think about this. The flu has an onset period where the patient exibits no symptoms but is still highly contagious. The virus can also live on any surface for hours. Im not talking swine flu here or even trying to scare people. The fact is if one person is sick the entire family WILL definitely catch it with this product.

First of all, if you rinse your toothbursh before you insert it into the dispenser, how can that be unsantiary? And we're talking about family members, I don't know about you but I know where my husband and kids mouths have been and I shouldn't fear catching anything for them! Now if It was a relative visiting or a guest staying ovwer for the night, I would put it down. But kids and husbands are careful when they put their paste on the bursh anyway- they let the top of the tube touch the brush everytime! So if to Chritina L, since you have diseased family members, this item isn't for you. But for anyone who wants to a easy , quick set up with NO MESS, this is just what you're looking for!

I'd have to agree with this thing being unsanitary! Kissing hubby and kids is different than rubbing their toothbrushes on mine. The majority of health care profs laugh at this one.

... what about the germs that fall onto your toothbrush by simply flushing your nearby toilet?

... Christina, I would think you would get as many germs kissing your kids or husband.

Seems like this would not be a good product unless you had one for each family member! At first I thought this is great I will get this for myself, my husband, and our 3 children; but after watching the video... you would just be passing germs to each other, the back of the toothbrush head touches the dispenser, you press and that is how the paste is dispensed! UNSANITARY!
