I have read all of the reviews and have read many that state there are not ENOUGH HIT SONGS..........I am confused about that. I grew up in the late 70's and the 80's were my Hey-Day, and this collection is brilliant. Tons of hit songs that I grew up with!!! Know the words to every one of em!!! Besides all of the track names and artists are listed on the website once you click on the product - I encourage each person to go in and read all the Titles and Artists to see if this collection is something you would enjoy BEFORE purchasing. Thank you TimeLife for letting me take a stroll down memory lane!!!!

It's the perfect set to listen to with my teenage kids and my husband because it has all the songs we all like, even though our general tastes have changed over the years. (I prefer country, my kids rap, and my husband rock & Elvis) We all love the songs in this set!!!

I use this product at least three times a day, I use it at home in the car and at work. All of the songs are awsome and I wouldn't be able to find all of these songs anywhere else.

I did like mostly all the songs. To say they were all hard or metal would be an over exageration! It was not what I had expected. Ballards are not hard. Soft rock is not hard or metal, and several tracks were laughingly touted as hard/metal, only to be slow or boring. The Brett Michael's dvd was a real snore! The other dvd was fair. My metal collect. box that housed the discs arrived bent inwards badly on 1 corner. For the price, the set falls short on what it's advertised as.
