Get Smart Season 1

I bought season 1 for my husband for Christmas. We just finished watching it with our children, ages 4, 6, and 8. It was loved by all of us. Really fun to watch together. We didn't have to worry about language, sex, etc. that are so prevalent in today's shows and movies. Just good clean fun. Our children actually make up stories and play that they are agents 86 and 99. Highly recommend!

I just like Get Smart and the actor and all of the cast, its funny, and it make us laugh. Don't expect to win any thang, but just the same we did enjoy this season of Get Smart and when we can will get the other seasons to.

I had bought this for my boyfriend but started looking at it with him. It took me back to my younger days where the simple life was all we knew and simple comments made, made us laugh. Thats what Get Smart brings back to me.

Previously purchased this for our 16 year old son - he says it's better than the movie remake. Very funny and original. He watches them often. This copy of season 1, we bought to go in a family gift basket for Christmas!

Taking our four children (ages 19 yrs old to 10 yrs. old) to see the New Movie Get Smart spurred their interest to the original series which they had never seen. We had a great family time watching the goofy antics of Maxwell Smart and the old-fashioned imagery of the HUGE computers and, of course, the shoe phone!!

I am very impressed at the clarity and crispness of the video including the vividness of the colors. I like the direct presentation of each episode without interruption and any commercial content. Very well done. I highly recommend this video.

I bought the dvds as a Mother's Day gift for my mom. She was a fan of the show when it was originally broadcast, and has remained a fan up to this day. She has already looked at all the dvds and really enjoyed them. Thank you so much Time Life for making these wonderful, and wholesome, dvds available for everyone to enjoy. I'm aware that the new Get Smart movie will be out soon, so this is a great way to get prepared for that as well! Thanks again.

If your a Get Smart fan this is a must for you. I did not want to spend the money for the entire collection at this time. I would like to buy remaining seasons but can not find them offered for individual sale. If remaining seasons are not available indidually this is a problem for me.

I purchased this for my 83 year old Dad for Christmas. We laughed so much, it reminded me of when I was 9 years old - Don Adams was an artist.

We have enjoyed watching Get Smart, our only disappointment is that you cannot purchase each season individually. It is either, the first year, or the complete set of 5 years. Also, it is a little pricy compared to other TV programs that you can get in the stores today.

Remember when watching TV shows would make you laugh. This DVD takes you back to that time and if your not careful, you just might laugh out loud. I would highly recommend this DVD

It's nice to see the pilot episode of Get Smart included in this package. "Get Smart" is a classic 60's comedy that's as funny today as it was then.

I have been waiting years for this to be released on DVD. I haven't been disapointed. I only wish that a commentary on a episode or two could have been gotten by Don Adams before he passed away, but the commenatries by Barbara Feldon, Mel Brooks and Buck Henry are excelent. I look forward to future seasons.

I have waited for the Get Smart TV series on DVD for some time, and I was not disappointed with the [...] offering. The comedy program is far better than anything that is on TV today. Mel Brooks and Buck Henry were at the top of their comedic game in the ‘60s. I am looking forward to the second season.
